Last weekend we drove to Denver for a wedding! It was a gorgeous wedding.
This is the only picture we have of the actual wedding...taken from E's iphone. I told Alex she should probably not take pictures during the wedding. But E did.
This picture doesn't do the bride's dress justice. It was phenomenal. I have never seen a dress like it.
One of the highlights of the whole day (besides the wedding!) was that we got to see some friends from Liberia who just came to America. We met them when we traveled there with Tony...they are his nieces and nephews. It was such a treat to see them again!
We liked the decorations... :)
The decorations were elegant and beautiful. But I really wished we'd have gotten some pictures of the breathtaking Liberian women in their African attire. They were amazing.
But alas, we did go to the reception kind of quickly after the wedding...which meant we waited a while.
I made friends with the wait staff.
I know that's a surprise. :)
My favorite one was an exchange student from Russia. Especially after she came by our table with these lamb kabobs. Wow. Yummo.
Me and Big E. If I had photo shop or something I'd mesh the next two pictures because let's face it. I look better in the first one. He looks better in the second one. You just can't get chins and cheeks to both disappear from the same angle.
Beth spent the whole evening drawing.
While the rest of us ate hershey kisses.
And cherry sours.
Beth finished her gift for the bridge and groom.
Oh wait! There's the father of the bride!! :)
Jake didn't want his picture taken so Big Daddy to the rescue.
They served yummy Liberian food. Fufu, Cassava and some other things.
As the dancing started we decided to sneak out. You know, because I didn't want to steal the bride's thunder on the dance floor with my Michael Jackson moves from 4th grade.
I was already in the car when Tony ran out to say goodbye! Eric made the kids take a quick snapshot.
What a fun day!

You will find outfits out since black color simply just is not going to
