beth's gift to lucy - she filled a sack with a whole bunch of stuff. as lucy was dumping it all out i heard each of the other kids say, "hey, that was mine." and at one point in a fit of laughter lucy said, "i gave that to you last year."
i somehow locked myself out of the hotel this morning. in my PAJAMAS, while taking moby to the bathroom. i had to go to the front desk to have my key card reprogrammed - still in my pajamas. that was a fun start to the day.
my new strategy for exercising the kiddos...
the elevator smells. it smells really, really bad. like so nasty that you can taste it. it's like b-o mixed with pepper. yuck.
we're on the fourth floor.
moby goes out about 6 times a day. multiply that times 4 flights of steps, up and down. (see, this is also a math lesson)
and that, my friends, is exercise.
no one really wants to go in the smelly elevator anyway so we take the stairs...a lot of them.
now, i do believe that my brilliance in the creative exercise department over-rules my mishap in my pj's this morning, right? :-)
(oh, and eric - well, he prefers to hold his breath on the elevator)
